DESCRIPTION: securfrog has discovered a vulnerability in WS_FTP Home and Professional, which can be exploited by malicious people to potentially compromise a user's system. The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error when processing responses of the FTP server. This can be exploited by e.g. tricking a user into connecting to a malicious FTP server. Successful exploitation may allow the execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is confirmed in WS_FTP Home version 2007.0.0.2 and WS_FTP Professional version 2007.1.0.0. Other versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION: Connect to trusted servers only.

| _______________ | 6 | | Google Quietly Launches AdSense For Feeds | Bits and pieces of Google's acquisition of FeedBurner continue to seep out. Friday marked the quiet "public" launch of AdSense for Feeds, a service that was soft-launched to a small group of AdSense users back in May.
Once integrated into publishers' RSS feeds, it'll serve up contextually-related advertising based around the content, helping publishers make money off the growing number of users accessing their site through RSS readers instead of the site where page and ad views have been factors in revenue. For users who did not have access to the AdSense for Feeds menu in Google's AdSense, it's a pretty straightforward setup.
Publishers can set ad frequency, placement, and have it only add them on content that's over a certain size. It also employs the same "channels" tool that lets you later track ad campaigns on certain sections of your site. Google Blogoscoped's Ionut Alex Chitu notes this release comes just a few weeks after the closure of FeedBurner's in-house ad publishing network, meaning all new publishers will need to through AdSense to be included in in-feed advertisements.

PMC-Renewal2 is my theme for August 2008. I used the same forum that I designed for PMC-Renewal so I could get this theme out early. It's a premium quality theme with matching forums and full screen resolution 1024X768 and higher. It has been tested on all of the major browsers without any difference in quality. September will be a busy month as I plan on releasing 2 premium themes during that time.
